Finley William Jones Is Born

Our friends Will and Nicola gave birth to a healthy baby boy this morning. His name is Finley William Jones, born 7-4-2002 at 4:02am, 3.495kg (7lb 11oz), 50cm (20in) long. They are at the Royal Hospital for Women at Randwick, the same place Grace was born.

Congratulations, guys!

Grace’s Heart Surgery Follow-Up

We took Grace up to Sydney today for some x-rays and a follow-up appointment with her heart surgeon, Dr Nunn. He was very pleased with her progress - there’s no sign of fluid around her heart or lungs, her liver is normal, and her heartbeat sounds fine. He also took out the stitch on her chest - all that’s left is a fine line, more like a scratch than an open-heart surgery scar!
